Looping a clip with effects

Tue Jul 22, 2014 12:15 pm
Hi everyone,

this sounds like it should be very easy, but I couldn't find a way to do it in kdenlive and neither by googling or by searching the forum...

I have an image-clip, which I move from left to right with a movement-effect.
When the image reaches the right side, I want it to jump back to the left and move to the right again.

Of course I can do that by duplicating the clip, but I want this to go on and on for about 10 minutes and the
transition from left to right should take a second. I really don't want to make 600 copies of the clip and set
the effect for each copy... Is there no sane way to do this?

Kind regards

Kdenlive is not an animation tool but a nonlinear video editor. Please look for an animation tool instead. Maybe Synfig may help you here. And Synfig is not a nonlinear video editor, but an animation tool.
