I have spent literally about 45 minutes trying to figure out how to make the title clip with a website (text) visible in the project manager or on the exported video!!!
I have Googled it and watched videos on Youtube and no joy! It was easier to root my Nexus 4 and install a custom rom! Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Assuming you have kdenlive 0.9.10 or newer. If a title clip holding a text with a website is what you want:
1. Rightclick in Project Tree area and select "Add title clip" 2. Click in the jacked area and enter some text, then click OK (clip should show up in Project Tree) 3. Drag clip from Project Tree to the Timeline 4. Render If you follow these steps and something does not work as described, please post here what you did and what happens and see if running kdenlive from command line prints somehing potentially useful. |

Output resulted in a video that doesn't show title clip I am using 0.9.10 on KDE 4.14.6 on Fedora 21 64 bit I can upload the project so it would be possible to see the problem (most likely between chair and keyboard) |

If steps 1-3 have been working and you could see the title in the preview when playing the timeline, it looks like a rendering problem. If other videoclips render out well and only title clips are missing, sharing a small example project would be nice.

Thanks for posting the clip. I guess there is an easy solution and quite hard to know when compositing the first time...
By default Composite shows the upper track over the lower track. Try to put the title clip on track Video 1 and the other on Video 2. Additional info: To composite more than two tracks you need to set the "With track" option of the Composite transition. By the way: Usually there is a transition panel close to the Project Tree and Project Notes panels where you can control your effects and transitions. Enable View->Transitions to see it. |
