I am using Kubuntu 15.04 with Kdenlive 15.08. I upgraded specifically to be able to use the latest kdenlive. But now there is a very serious problem that I can't fix.

Each speech bubble is a title clip. Since upgrading, each one "slides" or "wipes" into place instead of just appearing in place, as they did before I upgraded. This is major road block and I can't continue this project until I can fix this. Does anybody have any solutions? Very desperate to fix this.

So you have title clips with images imported into them ?

What happens if you just use the images directly on the time line without them being in title clips ?
