Hello. I have a problem. My system operation is Archlinux. When I use Kdenlive to rotate clip, I can't find any effects to use.
A friend told me to find the effects which name is "rotate and shear",but it does not in my application. I can find "rotation_keyframable.xml rotation.xml " in the path "/usr/share/kdenlive/effects " So, if somebody know how to resolve it, Please tell me . Thanks!

Did you install the frei0r-plugins package? They are an optional dependency of mlt. A lot of effects come from there.

Yes, the frei0r-plugins has already been installed. But there is no rotate effects. |

Huh... I am also on Arch and when typing "rot" in the effect search box I get Rotate (with keyframes) and Rotate and Shear.
Did you change the effect selection over the seach box accidently? Make sure you have selected all or video effects. |

Yes,but there is no rotate effect. By the way, Does this have a relationship with the graphics card? |

I doubt the graphics card is into it. I am on Intel HD4000 onboard graphics, no dedicated card. Do you have a dedicated card and use bumblebee or something else?
As I have no clue how the effect xml files and kdenlive work together (maybe somebody else has, please join) I can only give one last shot: Which settings do you have in the kdenlive configuration menu for Playback? https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... e_Kdenlive |

I have resolved it. Just install mlt-git instead of mlt.
