Hi, i have this issue long time ago, but now i really need to use this effect. I am running kdenlive 16.08 on kubuntu 16.04, this is the output of the crash:

The latest git commit fixes this issue. You can test it installing the kdenlive-master PPA, but beware it can be buggy.
