Hello,

Does anybody know what the "distort" option in the Pan and Zoom (Position and Zoom) effect does or is supposed to do?

I rendered an animation with and without and couldn't tell any difference.

There's no info at https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... n_and_Zoom

Change the width and height to not match the input aspect ratio, eg make the width & height both be 300. Then check and uncheck it. It'll be obvious then.

With distort unchecked the video will always maintain it's aspect ratio, with it enabled you have to set the aspect ratio manually. The default (no distortion) is what most people want most of the time, it's a good default.
