Hi there,
I recently updated my kdenlive to 16.08.3. Now Position and zoom doesn't work anymore. I have a rather large project going on, worked a while further on it after the update. But then I skipped around and saw that EVERY part where i used position and zoom doesn't work as expected. Here are some examples(but i made most of the screen black to only show what is wrong): First keyframe: http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=109728 Still looks ok, as can be seen pixelation is wanted. Second keyframe: http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=109729 Should be the same size as keyframe 1! It still says 26,02% But it rather looks like he is about 80%. Third keyframe: http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=109730 Now even the position is wrong! The numbers are alright. This video showed and rendered fine in the last version of kdenlive! So does anybody know what happened to position and zoom? Or why it isn't working anymore for me? Or better how to fix it? As I said I have a rather large project going on and would be happy if this can be fixed and I don't have to do everything from scratch again in another program. I tested position and zoom. It doesn't work even if I have only one clip in the project and only this effect and nothing else. Even if there are two keyframes only, kdenlive messes it up! Only one keyframes works but if I insert a second keyframe, at least one aspect gets ignored(mostly positioning works and zoom is ignored). So after this tests this looks like a bug in this version to me? I am using archlinux, this is the newest stable version there. Would be really great to get this fixed again |

Hello,
Many fixes related to keyframes have made their way to 16.12.0, so you may try the latest testing version (if you're on ubuntu/mint, you can get it with our PPA) that should be officially out this week. Else you can try to replace the P&Z *effect* with Composite & Transform *transition*, providing slightly better performance and more control (eg smoothed keyframes). Hope this helps, Vincent |

Sounds great. Wondering why arch is so slow, it always says it is bleeding edge but my version is the newest stable version there and in unstable it is 16.11.90. Perhaps this will change next week. Since this project will go on further, it doesn't matter if it is a day more or less (I will only do the parts where position and zoom is involved in another software if it won't work in kdnlive. I don't expect more to get corrupt).

Arch is bleeding edge: 16.11.90 is the latest beta before 16.12.0 release (tagged, archives to come), so this one should already have the corrections... if they are not sufficient please try to reproduce the bug with a minimal project (color/title clips...) and submit a bug report.
Thanks! |

Are there any new pieces of information when kdenlive 12 will release?

I'm sorry to tell you but this is still buggy. I am wondering why this is not seen, because it is so obvious and happens all the time, look here: http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=111260 http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=111261 Look at the keyframes. Yoshi is told to change his size AND position. But NEITHER works! He is standing still at the same position! kdenlive-file here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Ozie ... sp=sharing Greetings |

Hi there
Just FYI that Position & Zoom is not working I already tried to check and uncheck the option "synchronise with timeline cursor" The problem appeared after loading the saved file the day after, since it was working when I initially added the effect Kdenlive Version 17.12.3 on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS |

please switch to a more-modern release of Kdenlive, latest is 20.08 ... but i think that 19.12 appimage can work on "old" Linux 18.04 ( https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 4.appimage )
