Mon Jan 16, 2017 6:02 pm
Hello,

Yes, I know how to make static splitscreen, but I want to make dynamic splitscreen.

Hello,

yes ist possible. I made somthing like this the las tdays in kdenlive. But, im not able to Show you a showcase because at the Moment kdenlive always chrashing during rendering.
Theres also a bug Report but the developers dont look at this (it was reported in december last year) they are improving the timeline with new Features.

Thats very mistimed, new Features but rendering dosnt work.

You can achieve it by using the "Crop, Scale and Tilt" effect to crop the areas of the video you'd want to show, and then use the "Position and Zoom" effect to move them around by keyframing the X values. Don't forget to put a black color clip below the composited tracks. At least that is how I would do it. ;D

Not exactly what I wanted first, but it's a good start

https://youtu.be/p_n_FsSHmYM

I use affine transition with keyframes
