Hi,

I'd like my video project to have a kind of collage image as a rotating background. Is there a way to achieve this in a 1280x720 aspect video?

I tried creating a large, square image of sufficient size to accommodate the diagonal dimension of the video, but Kdenlive resizes the image so I get sidebars. What I'd like would be for the image to retain its pixel size rather than resizing.

Sorry for the jumbled description. I suspect I'm after something that can't be done.

Ok, scratch that. I just needed coffee.

Obviously I needed to resize the image in the transition properties rather than messing with the size of the source image.

I'm an idiot. Nothing to see here.
