The Rgbsplitt0r seems to be pretty new in kdenlive. I could not find any documentation on how it is beeing used. So i just applied it onto a video and a picture. The only thing that happens is i get a black image/video.
So my question is if anyone has an idea how it should be used. I know what rgb splitting is and what i should see. Thank you. |

Hi,
The effect works as expected for me. Could you check your versions of Frei0r, Melt, and Kdenlive ? Good Luck, |

Resettet my config files. Rgbsplitt0r Still doesnt work, makes black screen. But finally i have my "Switch Application Language" Menü.
Did you use some special images with special RGBA stuff or something? Maybe my files are wrong. |

Could you maybe try with some random images from the internet?

This is really weird. A lot ob libav filters also do not work. I checked my ffmpeg version now

Could you try directly with melt in the command line?
You can try to use a simple filter like sobel first:
and then rgbsplitt0r:

Very interesting. That produces what the filters should do. Shell test succeeded.

Is you Linux/kdenlive locale/language in english?
I have seen that most of the filters have an xml config file. rgbsplitt0r does not have one in my /usr/share ... folder |
