Hi,
I'm a beginner and I'm working in a wedding video. I would like to know how long should I overlap two clips for a good dissolve transition? Is there a way to do it otherwise than just moving them and then double clicking the transition to see how long does it take? thank you for your help. |

Rule of thumb, as I learned it, is to use a one second transition time, ~30 frames. In Kdenlive 16.08.2 you can use Shift-Right/Left Arrow to to move the Timeline cursor one second. Mine (strangely) moves 29 frames. But, it is close enough. Preview your transition and then tweak to get the desired effect.
