While importing a working gif file Kdenlive showing me an empty one. What might be a reason?

not using a GIF from 2007 the animated version is a supported type? (not sure about that)

BTW.. better to create a set of BMP/JPG from original animated gif (if there are a small amount of frames) ... there are some programs that can do that.. an online one is: https://ezgif.com/split

also there are some GIF to AVI online converter. ( https://convertio.co/gif-avi just drop the file on the web page)
