Hi all,

Sorry if this is one of those annoying question posts. I'm new to kdenlive and think it's great so want to stick with it. I'm quite new to video editing but I'd like to be able to help a school out with some special effects, specifically laser beams from eyes (or guns)!

Please could somebody point me in the right direction on how I can achieve this in kdenlive?

It could be done but it will take a lot of Keyframing to pull off, very time consuming. You would need an image or use GIMP to make PNG image of the Laser beam, put that image on the timeline, use a Pan and Crop effect to place then keyframe it to move it as needed.
