Hi forum,

I'm trying to render a video in which I have a SVG (transparent) that has some bullet points that I would like to appear one-by-one (fade in by "Dissolve"). I want to avoid having multiple SVGs and instead have achieved the desired result by applying "Rectangular Alpha mask" to the SVG (masking away all the bullet points I do not want), then dissolving into the same image (with a different alpha mask). However, this only works for very simple geometries (in particular those that can be expressed by exactly one alpha mask). When I try to add a seconds alpha mask, kdenlive tells me that the effect is already added. I do not see any reason why I shouldn't be allowed to apply that effect multople times, but kdenlive prevents it. How can I easily achieve what I want?

Thanks, Joe
