Hello everyone!. First of all, I am a complete beginner to linux/open source world & I already read the wiki (https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... tion/Speed). But the solution there doesn't work for me.

All the effects working fine in my setup, except motion effects. I tried transcoding my sources to DNxHD but it doesn't seem to work. As soon as I apply a motion effect, preview window turn to black & even if I remove the effect, it stays the same.

Also, I'm using the latest version of kdenlive & I tried ppa , App Image & flatpak versions. Nothing worked. But, the outdated beta version from snap store seem to work without any issues.

If someone can help me with this, I really appreciate it.

Distro : Mint mate 18.3 / GPU : Intel HD 620 / CPU: i3-7100U

Just a guess: Do you have enabled the GPU acceleration? Hit CTRL+SHIFT+, -> playback -> uncheck use GPU.

wow. it was disabled. But enabling it fixed my problem. Thanks!
