Is there a way to put multiple selection on the timeline?

If I also want to select a different areas on the timeline but not consecutive. So if the audio is a conversation between two people and want to select just one to apply an effect.

Press CTRL&SHIFT and select desired clips. Let CTRL&SHIFT go. Now you can move all selected clips to another track (but not in the same track).
