I've been using kdenlive for 4 years and I was really happy with this software. But, last may I changed my SO from Opensuse 42.1 to Opensuse 15. Consequently, I installed the new kdenlive version 18.08.1 and then the problems started.
One of them It's that I can't apply the rotate effect to a mp4 clip. When this effect is applied to a jpg clip, it works. On the other hand the Rotate and Shear effect can rotate the mp3 clip, but I'd like to use the keyframe control.
I had checked if frei0r plugins are installed.
So I haven't any idea about this error.
Have anyone had the same trouble? Or I shouldn't use that effect on mp4 clips?

Try to rotate with the „transform“ effect there you can set keyframes.

Thanks for you idea. But it wasn't suitable for me because I needed to rotate in the y-axis.
At the end, I reinstalled the whole software and I used the rotate(keyframable), again.
For the moment it works.
