Is there an effect for text to do karaoke-like text effect? Like every letter or word will transform in different color based on the duration from left to right. Better example would be like Brush Color animation in PowerPoint. Is there a way to make it like that?

Add a title clip with the text you want. Choose a color. Put the title clip on the timeline video 1.

Add a 2nd tittle clip with the same text as in title clip 1 but with different color. Make sure the text of both title clips are on the exact same position. Put the 2nd title clip on video 2 (above the 1st title clip).

Add transition “composite” between both title clips. On composite “Wipe Method” choose “linear_x.pgm”. With added keyframes on begin and end you can control the “Opacitiy” of the wipe from 0% to 100%.
