after crop it fits to screen size

Mon Feb 18, 2019 9:40 am
Hello
I want to crop a portion of video and then blur it over original video. when I crop video it fits to screen and become larger. How can I set it to crop but not fit to size and Is there any way to select not rectangular shape (like circle) and then blur It?
Thanks

Hi !
I got 3 solutions for you, which all work pretty well I think, and which to use might depend on what you want to do.
1) Use "Crop, Scale and Tilt" : this will only allow you to crop the sides (so a rectangle) but won't fit to the screen size
2) Use "Alpha shapes" : you can choose the shape and its dimensions, and if you want a feathered transition.
3) Use "Rotoscoping" : you can draw any shape you want and feather the edges.
On top of that, to blur just add the simple "Blur" effect :)
