Hey, recently got kdenlive to do a few simple edits for some games I play.
Up until now, the way I have used to razor tool is to place the pointer on the frame where I want to splice, then align the razor tool with the pointer and click. It seems like the razor tool has some inconsistencies with how it splices when I do this. I feel like it randomly chooses to either cut the clip in between the selected frame and the previous frame or cut the clip in between the selected frame and the next frame (if that makes sense). In any case, it feels like there is an uncertainty of 1 or 2 frames every time I use the razor tool. For example, if I use the razor tool and click on the pointer (they way I described above), and then delete half of the remaining item, there's a seemingly 50/50 chance that the frame with the pointer will also be deleted Can somebody provide an explanation for the specifics of how the razor tool works? Alternatively, is there a better way to take specific by-the-frame snippets of clips? |

On the released version 18.12: move the playhead on the position you want to cut -> right click on the clip: “cut clip”.

Nevermind, the problem seemed to stem from me being zoomed out of the timeline.
