How can I modify the pixel width and pixel height of the "obscure" video effect in kdenlive?

I don't see any way to change the pixel size in the documentation:

* https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... de/Obscure

But I do see there is a relevant argument to the mlt framework, as documented here:

* https://www.mltframework.org/plugins/FilterObscure/

The starting rectangle is given in the format X/Y:WxH[:PWxPY] where PWxPY is the size of the averaging region in pixels.

I am assuming that the "PWxPY" is the relevant argument to modifying the pixel size for the obscure video effect, but I see no way to change this value in kdenlive.

The equivalent for this in gimp is described here, with the "Pixel width" and "Pixel height" inputs:

* https://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/plug-in-pixelize.html

Please tell me how I can modify the pixel width & pixel height of the "obscure" video effect in kdenlive.

Only the opacity slider actually set the dimension of the pixels block.

Did this work for anyone? I'm trying to use Obscure (in v22.08.3), and the effects parameters show no opacity slider or any pixel size slider:

I found a way. The effect Motion Tracker works, though I'm not tracking any motion. Set the Shape width to 0, the Blur type to Pixelate, then adjust the Blur slider to change pixel size.

Beware the red guide box to set offset and dimensions may be incorrect if the project aspect ratio is differs from the preview window's, e.g. a portrait video. Setting pixel values manually in the effect parameters works ok.

i openend an issue about this...
the problem is that when the obscure effect was made probably the size of blocks was "set" for very small resolution of projects ( 720p? ) on 1080p and more the obscuring effect is not enough... (and it's not proportional to the project resolution)
