Hi everybody, here's my problem :

In track "Video 1" I have a still image
In track "Video 2" I have a video clip. I applied the "Corners" effect to the video clip to make it fit inside the laptop screen in the still image.

When I preview the result, all is fine. However, if I render the video (either as a "Preview Render" or export as a mp4 file), the background image is gone and is replaced by a white background (see images bellow)

I use the latest version of Kdenlive on a Windows 10 computer.
I tried to redo the project again from scratch whit the same files and again with with different files: Same result.
I tried to modify any settings that seemed relevent : no result.
I tried erasing this project completely, reboot my computer and redo it again : no result.

Any help to solve this problem would be appreciated

P.S.: I did a search on the forum before posting this but didn't find anything to help with this issue.

I found the solution on YouTube To fix the problem, I needed to convert my background image to the PNG format (instead of JPG).

Preview before rendering:


Preview after "Preview Rendering":
(Same thing if I render and export as a mp4 file : Background image missing, replaced by white background)

Yes, on the Windows released version the JPG get rendered as white screen and you have to convert it to PNG that it works.

Problem is solved with the upcoming Windows 18.12.3 and the refactoring version.
