Hello,
I have a png file with a small object in the center and transparency around. I would like to make it appear/disappear with a kind of "wipe effect". Problem is that the wipe effect starts from the edge of the picture, not from my object border. Is there a way to use the crop effect with some key frames ? Thanks for your tips ! |

Try with one of the Alpha/Transform effects like Vignette effect.

You can also use the composite transition with your preferred wipe and set the keyfranes how you want them

Hello,
I have played with alpha transform and composite transition during about an hour without success. Could it be because I am using version 18.12 ? I read that the transition and effect functions have been cleaned up in 19.04... |

I use 18.12 so it's not that (I'm actually not sure you can do what i think about with 19.04). Could you send a screenshot of what you're trying to do ?

Hi, I could't upload my drawing so I will try to explain instead: Lets assume a clip 1 like this : [ A B C ] A is the left area of the clip, B the middle area and C the right area. I would like a transition with a second clip that would : - keep A and C area from clip 1 - wipe the B area only, clip 2 is cropped and the wipe starts from B area edges, not A or C Thanks for your help |

I managed to achieve what I wanted by the use of the Rotoscoping effect. Thank you for the link ! |
