Hi friends ,

I was using the wave audio filter to make an audio wave to audio file and the output was a video file

now after update to 19.0.4 I can not use it

can you help to explain the method if it is changed?

Do you mean „audio wave“ under Analysis and date? If yes: the filter was intended for clips which have the audio embedded inside. So it’s no more useful in 19.04 as the audio has its own track and you see the audio wave.

I never used that filter. Try in the monitors option “Overlay Audio Waveform”.

Hello,
That's true that as now audio & video are split in audio only / video only clips & tracks, filters that switch from one domain to the other can't be applied.
We should add clip jobs for this kind of task...

This can be done using the master effect. Click on Master on top of all tracks -> and drag/drop the "audio waveform filter" into the master effect window.
