Hi,
The "softness" parameters has no effect in a wipe transition. I can see the effect in the miniature but not in the generated video file. I'm using version 19.08.0 on Windows 7. Any idea? |

i used Kdenlive 19.08 from nightly-builds to official release.. and the default effect of WIPE (the SOFTNESS) is working like on 19.04...
just tried again with latest nightly.. and the FADE-IN / FADE-OUT are working fine... can you provide a visual example (JPEG) of the project ? just to understand where did you apply the wipes

Thanks for your response. I forgot to say I'm not using the default wipe method. It has an impact?

i used 4 different effects but renderings are always ok... have you tried to reset configuration data using the menu: HELP --> RESET CONFIGURATION
BTW .. have you tried to change pink image with a videoclip (just to see if the issue is related to clip types?) |

I used the reset configuration option as mentioned and after creating a new project, everything was fine with a color clip and an image .
My old project were still not working so I started to investage: it's because of the file culture and the decimal point. After changing all the '.' to ',' (my culture is fr_FR), it was working well. FYI, I tried to change the LC_NUMERIC to "en_US" and replaced all ',' by '.' and I had the same issue again => I don't know why but it's not important, I will use only fr_FR for my projects. The softness was the only decimal value in my project, that's why only this was impacted. Thanks for your help! |
