I'm new to kdenlive. I'm running 19.08.0-1 on Windows 10.
I've seen some tutorials that suggest there should be a "speed" effect under "motion", but all I see is "freeze"? I'm trying to get a clip to play faster than normal speed but I'm not seeing how. Thanks, Steve Maring Titusville, FL |

Never mind. It seems that it moved to the context menu of the clip as "change speed".

The only problem now is that I can't type a new value in the field. It seems that the only way to change the value is with the arrows, which go pretty slow. If I want to play a clip 16 times normal speed I have to hold down the up arrow for a few minutes until it gets to 1600%.

For anyone that runs into this. My desire here was simply to be able to change the speed QUICKLY. You can do that with the PgUp and PgDn keys on the keyboard.

you can change speed VERY QUICKLY ... just old CTRL key and then DRAG the right clip edge to change speed to desired space/time duration/percentage/rate
