Hey there,

I'm on Arch Linux (sorry) and have a tiny little problem with any version of kdenlive I tried so far (any of the latest available, appimage, official repo, git, release-git), being that I don't have what I would say is 90% of the effects kdenlive should normally have. The plugins are installed, but they seem to be blacklisted, or just not recognized.

I'm willing to use frei0r's plugin called alpha0ps, anyone would know about a solution for that ? I can share logs if needed.

Thanks !

Looking at effects (searching with the magnifying glass) there is ALPHA OPERATIONS ... that seems like alpha0ps... (or i'm wrong?)

btw in the frei0r-1 folder there are 129 compiled effects, (a lot of them are not working... on Windows)

My problem is that I can't see any of frei0r's effects available in kdenlive (same occurs for avfilter ones, and many many others, even all the ladspa ones).

Is there any way I could hard link the path to the effect to load it accordingly ?

Thanks in advance :)

I'm trying to overlay a graphic onto video and need to shrink and move it to get it in the right place.
I did this fine yesterday but Kdeline crashed every time I needed to render. So I uninstalled the old version and installed the new version earlier today and now there seems to be no way of doing this. It is a relatively simple thing may people would do to put a logo or caption on a video, and yet it seems it isn't working.

I should probably add that I'm using Ubuntu OS.

It seems that I can no longer speed up a clip either.

Speed of a clip is managed from 19.08 directly on timeline (pressing CTRL and dragging right size of clip to correct durantion)
slow motion with kdenlive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAFOrE0s0Ks

kdenlive is appearently in a genereally broken state. Many things in the UI is difficult to understand, tooltips and help is missing, and things change in weird ways, making it difficult to use the application. For finding effects, clicking the button with the "show all video effects" tooltip in the effects pane may help, or the search function.
