Adding Glow FX results on bad Render

Thu Oct 17, 2019 12:24 pm
Hi all,

Anyone noticed this issue?
If I render my clip using some effects like: Denoiser, Saturation, Contrast, Luminosity... all works just fine and the final is as expected.
Yet, if I try to use (add) any kind of Glow FX, the render is full of noises and glitches.

My Clip without the SoftGlow FX applied:

Now, check the result with the SoftGlow FX applied:

NOTE: This issue seems to happen with any GLOW FX variant (GLOW, SoftGLOW, EdgeGLOW).
Should I report this as a BUG?

If you work on Linux try with the AppImage. Render without "parallel processing". I tested on Windows with EdgeGlow and it rendered correct. If it still exists please open a bug.

I'm on Windows 8.1 PRO x64.
I'm going to test it again using another CGI clip that I rendered last night.
If the problems persists, then yes, I'll open a ticket.
Thank you for your reply and for taking the time to test this issue.

All the best
Cheers.

I assume you work with Kdenlive 19.08.2. Could you test with Kdenlive 18.12 as well? Download just the standalone version (no installation needed). Testing between 18.12 and 19.08: Make sure you kill dbus-daemon.exe after closing Kdenlive.
