I all. I'm hoping this is the correct place to post this, and perhaps for a solution to the problem.
I started using kdenlive a few days ago. It has never been installed on this computer before. Version 19.08.2, MLT = 6.16.0, KDE Frameworks = 5.62.0, Qt = 5.13.1 I run an updated version of Windows Pro 64bit This computer has a geforce rtx 2060 card, Solid State 16GB ram. Intel i7 3.6GHz. I have video from a 4K camcorder loaded in a track, about 8 seconds long. When I select the clip, then in the top menu I select Clip -> Clip Jobs -> Stabilize (vidstab) it crashes kdenlive. I have tried it on other clips, too, and they all crash. Any ideas or suggestions to try to fix this? --- solved So I misunderstood how stabilize works. It's actually applied to the side video's, not the clips in the timeline. In the Project Bin, there are a collection of videos in your project. Those are the ones that can be stabilized without crashes. Once they are Stabilized, you can add them to the timeline. |
