Hello,

I'm trying to set color tones in a video using rotoscoping and coloring like so:
https://ucb2b0f19e1b788f7edcb804bfc2.dl ... RePE/file#

Of course, it seems to work alright, but it's not a good method. What I'm doing now is copying the movie, cutting an outline with rotoscoping and then colorizing that video part with a color to color areas in the original video. What that does is makes the render time very slow.
I'm very new to kdenlive (just started properly today) and I've been battling with this for over 3 hours and I'm beginning to go mad :D

Can someone explain how to do it properly please? I really want to get on with my project.

Side issue: I'm experiencing a lot of crashing when I use rotoscoping. Especially when I move the points close together.

Sorry for the late reply.

I managed to work that issue out; but the other problem is that kdenlive can easily crash if I bring the points too close together for some reason (see video below). I'm on the latest kdenlive version but I've also tried older versions and the same thing happens.
Also, is there a way to have multiple rotoscopes/rotoscope parts on one video/image?

Terminal output:
Code: Select all
iMap4Dr/AppRun: line 26: 15678 Aborted                 (core dumped) kdenlive --config kdenlive-appimagerc $@`

I followed this guide, but only the same thing showed as above in the terminal output:
