De-keystone (perspective transform)

Tue Dec 17, 2019 9:26 pm
Hello

I use my webcam to film the process of producing a drawing (pencil and such). The camera is at an angle
to the paper I'm drawing on, so the drawing appears in perspective. At the moment
I use ffmpeg -vf perspective ....... etc to de-keystone the filmed drawing into a rectangle.
I do this after having made a time lapse, so it doesnt take too much time to render.
Can this be done also in kdenlive? I'm looking into making my editing process more flexible.
As I have a lot of material, de-keystoning the entire video with ffmpeg is not the preferred
option.

Thnx

looking at today effects there is nothing related to perspective (or 3d-like things) on Kdenlive.. (and there are no plans about adding it on next year release). sorry for that.. (i'm also looking for something perspective-related to make spinning titles)

Ok, thnx for the quick response. Hm lightworks seems to have it. But I think what I'm gonna
try first, is do the perspective transform right away from the start, while capturing from the webcam with
ffmpeg.
