"Volume (keyframable)" effect

Mon Dec 30, 2019 3:22 pm
Hi all,

Version: 19.12
The blue bar of the "Volume (keyframable)" effect, which symbolizes the level of the volume, is not drawn over the entire length of a longer piece of music.
In my music piece, which has a length of 1h45 and is cut off at 15 min, the blue bar stops at 8:36min. After that the red markers can still be set and these also affect the volume, but it is difficult to estimate the volume level of the video clip. Especially if there are still many changes in the volume from 8:36min to 15min.
This is only a graphical problem and does not influence the effect itself.
( By the "blue bar" I do not mean the black bar, which represents the music itself)

Work-a-round:
If you cut the piece of music at the point where the blue bar ends, it will also be displayed for the remaining time.

I wish you a good leap into the year 2020.

Do you use the AppImage? Click the button "fit zoom to project" (bottom right) and the blue line appears over the whole audio lenght. The more you zoom in the shorter the blue line will be. In my case: zoom level 18/21 the blue line is only 1min36sec long. Can you confirm this?

yes, I use the AppImage.
I have that impression, too. Zoom 20/21: length is 1:10 min. The other way round, with low zoom the blue bar reaches over the whole length of the music.
