Hard to change an effect

Thu Jan 16, 2020 5:21 pm
Hi,
I use the AppImage 19.12
In the timeline:
When I move the mouse to the beginning of a track, a narrow green vertical bar appears. This prevents you from moving the red circle of a keyframable effect, because instead of the beginning of the effect the beginning of the track is moved. In my case it's "Volume (keyframable)".
It's a bit difficult to describe this well.
There is only a very very small area where I can grab the small circle with the mouse instead of the start of the track.
At the end of the track the same applies.

In version 18 this green/red bar did not exist and the beginning of the effect could be easily changed.
Maybe you could do without the new bars in v19.

kdenlive is a great tool, but at the moment I see a lot of 'small' problems. Fortunately, these can be worked around in one way or another. But they are annoying.

can you post an image about this? (maybe add an issue report?) https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues

i have simlar issues when i have to move these circles (for fading) when there is a composition effect that overlap the circles.

I made the image with AppImage v 19.12.1. (OpenSUSE Leap 15.1)

https://de.share-your-photo.com/7b967c6c31

you can good see that the green line almost completely covers the small circle and so
you mostly catch the beginning of the track instead of the circle.
