Render crashes with images with fade

The new image Fade-in and Fade-out are very nice as from (or to) black is now an option. So now I can use Fades with PNG slides when adding them to a presentation video. I previously used the Transform effect by adding keyframe positions and opacity setting; it was time consuming.
However, the new Fades and/or images caused rendering to crash. I could render when I removed the images (deleted the whole track).

Using Kdenlive version 19.12.1, on Windows (7 & 10) and Linux (Fedora 31).

Crash report:

I need to do more tests to see what's causing this crash, but Kdenlive is rending now.

2 fast questions:

1) in your contry (or your OS) the numeric decimal separator is comma?
2) is your VGA card an Intel?

Yes, my local language uses comma as a numeric decimal separator. But it crashed even on a machine that uses en_US as the interface.
I tried it on three computers. The Fedora box has an AMD display card. The other Windows were an HP laptop and a Dell box; not sure about their cards.
