I have frei0r-plugins installed (which gave me access to more effects), but I still seem to be missing some effects.
For example, under Alpha/Transform, I have Alpha gradient but not any other "Alpha *" effects like Alpha Shape (the one I currently want to use).

Any idea on why this is?

Setup:
- Gentoo Linux
- kdenlive-19.12.3
- Frei0r-plugins-1.6.1

Is there a specific feature of ffmpeg that Kdenlive requires or something?
Because there are a lot of use flags enabled and disabled for ffmpeg.

It turned out I had the widget under main effects and not all effects.
My theme settings were messed up so the icons were white and I didn't see it.
