Chroma Key Issue

Mon Aug 24, 2020 7:26 am
Deleted the green screen With Chroma Key, when I play the Kdenlive video, the Green screen does not appear, but it does appear after rendering. What is the solution?

Thanks Bartoloni for creating a video. However, this does not answer the question... and I have actually the very same problem, as kde-anonim described succinctly. Let me provide more details:

Using Chroma Key works fine in Kdenlive, the green screen disappears and the preview in Kdenlive looks great. That is basically what you demoed in the video, that works OK.

However, after rendering, the MP4 generated is a complete disaster: most of the "green screen" is still there. It looks like the "variance" parameter is altered during rendering or something. Actually, when I close the Kdenlive project and re-open it, the variance is defaulted to 1000 (the Maximum). I think there is something wrong with this parameter.

Using Win 10
tried various verisons of Kdenlive :
20.8.0
20.4.1
20.4.0
(all versions behave the same ... :( )
