Re version 20.08.3....

I have a youtube music video that I downloaded, added to the timeline. I've cut and separated several sections with the intent of changing the speed on some sections to 45% with pitch correction. Allows me to figure out what the guitar player is doing and to learn it.

On the first section, it works fine. But when I try to change the speed on any other section - it doesn't work properly. I managed to use the down arrow to get one of them to 81%, but it won't go any lower. If I type in 45.00% in the box, and click ok....it reverts back to 100%... There are no other effects. Just a bunch of clips that I separated with a few seconds of black inbetween. Am I doing something wrong here?

** I closed down Kden, reopened a new project, imported the same video, managed to get two segments to change to 45% with pitch correction.....but now any others won't change to less than 100. I can go above 100......If I enter 45.00% then click pitch correction, it reverts to 100%.
On other clips that have not been changed, when I click Change Speed, the box opens and pitch correction is not selected.....but on the ones I was trying to change it stays at 100% with pitch correction enabled....can't deselect it.....

Very confusing....

Is there enough place in the timeline next to this segment if it will be expanded? Try to move the segment to an empty track and change the speed there. Just a guess.
