Hi

I want to insert a transparent png image file in the time line.
The png is displayed but the transparent backgrouind of the png is played as a squared grey-white background

Is this normal ?

Hi you have to apply a "transform" effect on the PNG to resize/move and make it transparent (if there is a transparency on the original PNG)

Are you sure your png in actually transparent? It should work directly without a composition if the track compositing is on "High Quality". If on none, it would display a black background and not the grey squares.
