I use a graphics program called Viddyoze to create moving titles and other graphics. Previous versions of Kdenlive handle alpha channel graphics quite well. Transparent backgrounds work. As I explained to them, "With Version 20.04.01 of Kdenlive, all alpha channel graphics work fine. With newer versions of Kdenlive (20.12.3 and 21.04.01), Viddyoze alpha channels do not work. Interesting because I recently purchased a competitive graphics package (CreateStudio) and all alpha channel graphics work with all versions of Kdenlive."

They responded saying, "Hi, the codec in our .MOV files is Apple Prores 4444 codec. I would recommend you contact the support team of you editor to see if they accept this codec, they should also be able to tell you a way to convert it to a codec they do accept."

Okay, so do I need this codec with the newer Kdenlive versions? If so, How do I install it?

I'm not 100% certain but this is about FFmpeg. Check with VLC player if it works. If yes it should work with Kdenlive as well.
