Is there a way to end the video on an image as opposed to a black screen?

I would like to use Kdenlive for Pinterest Video Pins, but I can't have it end with a black screen. I'm not sure this can be done, but I would love to hear from anyone using this awesome software for Pinterest. ( I REALLY don't want to use Canva!)

YPu have just to place the videoclip on V2 .. and the background image on V1... .this make that any kind of fading on V2 is fading to an image .. and not to the black.

What I was referring to was when the video clip stops playing. The player doesn't close, it just sits there with a black screen. This is less than ideal from an advertising perspective.

On a whim, I built the ad on Canva and got the exact same result. This has me thinking that this is a MPG issue and not a Kdenlive thing.

Your video shouldn't end on black, if you have something at the end. I just checked on multiple videos, and they never end with a black frame.
