moving a clip smaller than the video size

I want to put it in an horizontal frame and move it to the right, so i can write things on the left. But I cannot ! Works great. Almost simular as my later version appimage i also have in use. And if i understand some plugins do even work here which now are bugged under later/recent versions? (Lift/gamma/gain for instance?)
