Hello.
Let's imagine I have a moving ball in the video. I would like to change the color of this ball or apply another effect. Is it somehow possible to achieve that without manually adjusting rotoscoping or shapes in alpha channel frame by frame? Thanks |

Yes and No
The best option is to use the Rotoscoping because the color selector in kdenlive is not so accuracy. If you want to try just use some green screen color selector and extract the color of the ball to modify. But don't be lazy, rotoscopy will give you the best result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdPIOb7dd4U ------> (see 1:27) Love and Peace |

Thank you! That's really old... I should make a new one, kdenlive has improved a lot since then, I believe we can do a better one nowadays. |

Hello Makinars-Studio,
It's impressive what you're doing, and very gratifying to hear that you're limiting entirely to opensource software: wonderful to see what's possible with Kdenlive. I saw in your video that you are using lift/gamma/gain. Don't you have any problems with this filter? With Lift you can't change the color point if all values are reset before. |

Thank you! The free software did a lot for me before, it's just a giving back.
I don't understand what you mean, but it's working fine for me. I think it depends of your workflow, because some early effect could affected negatively your "Lift/Gamma/Gain" Be careful to not going off topic, I think is against the rules. Love EDIT: Yes! We do have a bug right there, in my videos I'm using an old version of kdenlive |
