Corners Effect background color

Sun May 29, 2022 4:01 pm
Is there any way to remove the forced black background color from the Corners effect? I am looking to do a "Star Wars" type introduction and I have the bottom to top scroll working fine, the text moves over the underlying picture just the way I want. But when I add corners I get the effect I want, but my transparent background is gone and a black background is shown covering the underlying image. That's not what I want.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi!, this seems a BUG.... just opened an issue: https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenl ... ssues/1443

to fix: right now you have to add (after Corners) a "Chroma Key: Advanced" on the same TEXT... and set the COLOR to "black" to completely remove it and make a transparent background.

That's not a bug! :P

You just need to change the "Alpha Operation" to "Minimum" ;)

If you want a really cool video tutorial about it take a look at Roxane's channel (Arkengheist 2.0), she did a great and very easy tutorial.
