hello everybody,
I'm new to KDEnlive and Glaxnimate and I'm trying to make it work.
I have a strange problem going on here.
I have made a title in Glaxnimate and I saved it in the rawr format.
When I'm importing it into a KDElive project, it doesn't display correctly.
Here's how it look in Glaxnimate : https://macserver.fr.to/s/8C6n5CkXeNDmftz
And here's how it look in KDEnlive when imported as rawr: https://macserver.fr.to/s/DP7oCq2p2jAfSKQ
And here's how it looks in KDEnlive when imported as JSON: https://macserver.fr.to/s/kJDi4BStCqMwSc5

The title has some basic animations going on, nothing crazy, see export from Glaxnimate: https://macserver.fr.to/s/D6kPmJ9YKdr4fS7

Export from KDEnlive shows the same problems as in the previews.

Any clues

I would say it could be a problem with the font, but I don't know. I prefer traditional formats like .svg, .jpg, .png, etc. :)

This animation can easily be done using just kdenlive, why use other software?

It can only be done directly in Kdenlive if using several titles on several different tracks, which I feel is really cumbersome...
I'll try using some other font to see if that's it.

Nope, I've tried with several other fonts (arial, times new roman, etc.) no change...
It seems Glaxnimate integration is still buggy as I have transparencies that sometimes work and sometimes don't.

I agree, actually you only need one title clip and 3 tracks.
You can also create a project for your opening and import this project inside of your other project then you have a clean timeline.

I meant it could be the font used in Glaxnimate that is not being recognized in kdenlive.

You are probably using windows since these fonts are not from linux, but forget about it... I don't think is a font issue because it's revealing part of the text.

Yeah, it could be,
Sorry! :|

Yes but still cumbersome, specially if you want to use this as, let's say a chapter title, with a video running in the background and different texts for each instances.
Well, Glaxnimate is also a bit buggy and integration in Kdenlive is relatively recent so I'll work around it and see how things get sorted out in the next releases.
