Dear Kdenlive- and MLT-Experts,

can you give me an estimate if such a filter can be implemented within
the architecture of MLT effects?
In 2001 a paper was pubished which describes my idea of semi-realistic
motion blur pretty well: https://www.cc.gatech.edu/cpl/projects/blur/
The algorithm was used to generate motion blur for stop motion sequences.

I think this method can be fast enough for preview (buffer precalculated smear vectors)
for example. And it foremost can apply on animated Text and Frames, rather than
video clips itself. Because the simplified method does not work pretty well if the
whole scene and camera perspective is changing.

Kind regards
Dom
