When I drag transform to the track I don't see the red frame in the projectmonitor so I can make it smaller or replace it.The same with rotoscoping. What am I doing wrong?I use windows 10 and the newest version of KDENLIVE but I also tried older versions but with the same results.

Make sure Edit Mode is enabled. To do that click on the icon to the immediate right of the fast-forward button below the project monitor.
