Volume out of control

Sorry for the title, but has anyone else noticed that the volume effects do not have any controls?. Volume (keyframable) doesn't place a line in the waveform.

I am using kdenlive 0.8.1+svn20110608.r5684-0ubuntu0~sunab~maverick1 with attached frei0r and mlt.

Note:- this was already occurring in the last two or three recent updates.

This was caused by a recent change in MLT and is fixed in Kdenlive svn rev. 5692
