I'm new to kdenlive, video editing, and animation, so forgive me if this is a stupid question:
I'm trying to create a stop motion animation that's sync'ed to the rhythm of a song. Not having any clue how to do this, I modified the song in audacity to be 120bpm, so be divisible by 24fps. I'm having trouble actually lining up the beats though, since they are not easily visible in the waveform. Any hints on how to do this in kdenlive, or just generally? Thanks! |

Place the music on the timeline and just play it. Everytime the beat changes you have to press the * button. Closing your eyes can help
Afterwards you can line-up everything to those markings. |

Thanks - that recommendation came up while I was googling for an answer, and I gave it a try, but couldn't get very consistent results. I'll give it another shot though.
