Hi,
using xubuntu 14.04 LTS with 0.9.10 / 0.9.6 and mp3 audio is cut at the end with about 5 sec. I have to make all my mp3 about 5 sec longer (with silence registration), so i can use all of my mp3 until end. Only longer mp3 that 5 minutes is concerned. And it seems not to be the "fault" of kdenlive 0.9.6 oder 0.9.10 : i used xubuntu 12.04 LTS before and 0.9.6 was running without that bug. Even 0.9.10 ! In xubuntu 14.04 there seem to be buggy tools around that are used kdenlive.

some ideas?

PS: mp3 in the timelive is often distorted. But only for say 1/2 minute or I have to restart kdenlive.
PPS: I would like to make a donation (100 dollar) but I need special support, I need it for my one-man-business. I waste dozends of hours with bugs. So if a save these hours i can make a donation. Otherwise I'm perhaps forced to change to windows7. My idea: offer that special service in kdenlive maybe in a popup windows one time every week with a link to click to make a donation and then geht some special support .

Problems are often coming from variable bitrate encoded audio, that libavcodec cannot seek precisely beyond a certain limit (which limit, how to adjust, I don't know yet).
The workaround is to transcode your clips with fixed bitrate audio codec, WAV being a safe choice.

Thanks for your donation offer, the problem is that no one is available to provide a regular and good technical support for the moment. Maybe in future?
