I have files that have been transcoded from .MTS to .mov and have put together a short video. When I play the timeline in kdenlive, I sometimes hear a "glitch" in the audio each time it transitions to a new clip. Usually if I back up and play that transition again, I don't hear the glitch.
However, when I render the file to .mp4 or .avi (the only ones I have tried so far) I get the glitch each time it goes through a transition in the final video file. This glitch is about 200 ms long and just sounds like white noise with a "pop" in it. I believe I have heard this before but it has never been a problem in the rendered file. Does anybody have any suggestions? I have recently tried out the dev version of kdenlive and found it way too buggy so I purged that and loaded the stable version. I am on Ubuntu 15.04. Wondering if there are files that didn't get removed or overwritten. Other than that I have no idea what is going on. Files were transcoded to DNxHD 720p 59.94 220 Mb/sec Steve |

Hi Steve,
Are your files split part of a same recorded video sequence? a/ if not, then the usual way to avoid your problem (same with other video editing softwares) is to over lap sequences and mix sound. Have a look to https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... ransitions b/ if yes, I have the same problem. Investigating... |
